A sampling of Kent Police incidents: March 11-25:
March 11
Commercial burglary: 8:55 a.m., officers responded to a commercial burglary at Barghausen Consultants, 7100 S. 182nd St. Surveillance footage captured two suspects on the premises for over 10 minutes. They stole a laptop and a file cabinet containing potentially sensitive information. The business reported previous burglaries, suggesting they may have been targeted.
Attempted carjacking: 1:04 p.m., officers responded to a stolen vehicle report near 21600 64th Ave. S. The vehicle, tracked to Safeway, fled upon police arrival, causing damage to two vehicles. The suspect attempted a carjacking but was apprehended by officers.
March 15
Commercial burglary: 5:17 a.m., officers responded to a burglary at Joyria Esmeralda, 25600 Pacific Highway S. Two suspects were seen forcing entry into the jewelry store and fled upon police arrival.
Human trafficking: Officers responded to a report of threats linked to potential human trafficking in Kent. They conducted a thorough investigation, supporting the victim and uncovering additional criminal incidents.
DUI arrest: Officers responded to a verbal domestic incident at Home Depot, 26120 104th Ave. SE. They observed a female suspected of driving under the influence with young children in the vehicle. After a pursuit, the suspect was arrested for DUI, endangerment of children and related charges.
March 18
Stabbing: 4:16 p.m., officers were dispatched to a stabbing incident at Arden Park Apartments, 23817 108th Ave. SE. A male victim with non-life-threatening injuries reported an altercation within his apartment. Officers detained individuals at the scene and secured the area for further investigation.
March 20
Burglaries: Officers conducted follow-up activities at a storage facility for an unrelated case. They discovered recent burglaries, identified suspects, and referred the case to the detective unit for further investigation.
Road rage: Officers responded to a road rage incident, arresting the suspect for second-degree assault and subsequently referring the case to detectives.
March 22
Assault arrest: Officers received information regarding a suspect wanted for second-degree assault domestic violence and unlawful imprisonment. They successfully located and arrested the suspect.
March 24
Stolen handgun: 2:51 a.m., officers were dispatched to a collision. They located a stolen handgun at the scene and coordinated with traffic units for control of the scene and investigation.
