Chelsie Jorgensen, a member of the Seattle Mist women’s Lingerie Football League team that plays at the ShoWare Center in Kent, appears in the February issue of Playboy.

Jorgensen, 21, of Puyallup, is pictured and profiled in the issue that hits news stands Jan. 21. Three LFL players are on the cover and 10 players are part of an eight-page pictorial. Jorgensen appears in three inside photos.

Jorgensen was listed as a safety and center on the 2010 Mist roster. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall and 117 pounds.

The 10-team league features scantily clad women playing seven-on-seven tackle football on a 50-yard field. They play 17-minute halves. Each offense features a quarterback, center, two running backs and three receivers.

The players wear helmets with clear face shields, shoulder pads, sports bras, panties, elbow and knee pads. The uniform numbers of each player are stamped on the back of the panties and front of the sports bra. Jorgensen wore No. 8.

Seattle played home games Aug. 27 and Oct. 8 in its second season in the league and at the ShoWare Center. The Mist finished tied for last with the Dallas Desire in the Western Conference with an 0-3 record. The Mist lost 36-32 to Los Angeles, 41-12 to Chicago and 26-25 on the road to the San Diego Seduction.

LFL regular season games appeared each Friday night on MTV2.

On Jan. 29, the Los Angeles Temptation and Chicago Bliss play in the Western Conference finals while the Tampa Breeze and Philadelphia Passion play in the Eastern Conference finals to determine the Lingerie Bowl teams.

Lingerie Bowl VIII will be played at 5 p.m. Feb. 6 (Super Bowl Sunday) in Las Vegas and will be available on Pay-Per-View. The Lingerie Bowl started in 2004 as counter halftime programming to the Super Bowl. The league began in 2009 and features just one league game per week from August to January.
