OneMain Financial will provide Kent area residents and customers the opportunity to support their local community during its Customer Appreciation Days throughout the month of November.
The OneMain Financial branch at 25840 104th Ave. S.E. in Kent will collect food donations until Nov. 30 to help support the mission of Northwest Harvest Food Bank.
OneMain Financial’s collaboration with NW Harvest Food Bank reflects the philanthropic and community-oriented mindset engrained in the Baltimore-based company’s corporate culture, according to a company media release. Employees leverage their professional skills and experience by volunteering their time directly to nonprofits and other community organizations.
“Sharing a likeminded vision with NW Harvest Food Bank, OneMain Financial is helping make the neighborhoods where we do business better places to live and work,” said Mary McDowell, President and CEO of OneMain Financial and CitiFinancial North America. “We have a strong tradition of supporting local organizations that help those in need, and as we celebrate our 100th anniversary we are particularly excited area residents will be joining us in this effort during our November Customer Appreciation Days.”
With the holidays fast approaching, residents can take advantage of this opportunity in November to make a valuable contribution to their community. While in the branch, area residents can pick up a free gift while supplies last and enter OneMain Financial’s sweepstakes to win an Amazon Kindle.
