City of Kent street crews have postponed the scheduled paving work along 64th Avenue South because of poor weather conditions.
Crews were scheduled to restrict northbound traffic to one lane between South 216th Street and South 212th Street from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, May 4-5, for paving.
Crews expect to pave the street next week but no exact date has been set, according to city officials.
Drivers are asked to use alternate routes or drive carefully through the area during the work. Drivers also should be aware of the rough edge along the street until work is completed.
