Kent Police and neighborhoods throughout Kent observed National Night Out on Tuesday.
Police help organize the gatherings as a crime prevention tool through neighbors getting to know and watching out for each other.
Neighborhoods across town participate each year in an effort to bring people together to share food, conversation and fun times.
