The King County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the Kent man found March 24 fatally shot in a field near the former Valley 6 Drive In theaters in Auburn.
Silvano Ruiz-Perez, 31, died of a single gunshot wound to his upper extremities, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office on Monday. The medical examiner estimated Ruiz-Perez died on March 23 and classified the manner of death as homicide.
Auburn Police found the body that Sunday at a site near the northern edge of the city off of South 277th Street, just south of Kent. Initial police reports identified the man as a Kent resident.
From the start of the case, Auburn Police Cmdr. Steve Stocker said detectives had classified the case as a homicide.
