A 19-year-old Kent man died in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in SeaTac.
Andrew D. Long, was driving a 2012 Mitsubishi Fuso, a commercial truck, at about 3:08 p.m. southbound on State Route 509 exiting to South 188th Street when he lost control, according to a State Patrol media release. The truck rolled into the left side ditch ejecting Long, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt. The truck came to a rest on its top.
Drugs or alcohol were involved, according to the State Patrol. Long died at the scene. The agency listed speed as the cause of the accident.
Paramedics transported a 22-year-old SeaTac man, who was a passenger in the truck and wore a seat belt, to Highline Medical Center in Burien with undisclosed injuries.
