Kent residents finally got the chance to enjoy the sunshine this spring when temperatures reached into the mid- and high-60s Wednesday and Thursday and even hitting 70 on Friday.
The nice weather caused many people to hit local parks, including the popular Lake Meridian Park on Kent’s East Hill.
The high temperature reached 66 on Thursday and 64 on Wednesday.
Over the weekend, however, high temperatures are expected to drop to 62 on Saturday and 59 on Sunday with a chance of showers.
