The second annual Emerald City Lights Cornucopia Days Bike Event will start and end Sunday, July 17 at Town Square Plaza at Second Avenue and Harrison Street in downtown Kent.
Organizers scheduled the ride one week after the main Kent Cornucopia Days festival so the ride would not conflict with the annual Seattle to Portland bicycle classic.
The Cornucopia Days Bike Event includes rides of 25, 60 or 100 miles. The shortest ride is flat and loops down to Sumner and back while the longer rides loop through Renton and Enumclaw and are aimed at intermediate and advanced riders.
Fees are $40 before race day and $50 the day of the race.
The event starts at 8 a.m. and ends about 5 p.m. Riders in the 100-mile ride can start at 7 a.m. Registration runs from 7-10 a.m.
