The Kent Chamber of Commerce will offer a Speed Candidating event Thursday, July 18 to meet candidates for the Kent City Council, Kent mayor and King County Council.
The cost is $10. The event runs from 5-8 p.m. at the Kent Senior Activity Center, 600 E. Smith St.
Tables of eight to 10 people will be set up. A new candidate will sit at each table every 10 minutes to answer questions from participants.
