Are you interested in serving on the Kent Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors?
The board’s nominating committee is in the process of selecting a slate of new proposed directors for approval. There are slots on the board up for election this fall. Those selected will represent a cross section of the membership, and their terms will begin Jan. 1.
Board members are expected to attend monthly meetings, serve as liaisons to other chamber committees and attend as many chamber functions as possible in order to stay in close contact with the membership they represent.
Anyone interested in serving is invited to submit an application of interest by 5 p.m. Sept. 8 to the chamber office, 524 W. Meeker, Suite 1, or be emailed to the chamber CEO, Andrea Keikkala, at andreak@kentchamber.com.
