WGU Washington awarded degrees to a record number of graduates during its May 17 commencement ceremony at McCaw Hall in Seattle.
The three-year-old university awarded more than 1,000 bachelor’s and master’s degrees this year.
The following students from the Kent area graduated from WGU Washington: Susan Christian (bachelor of science, health informatics); Korrie Carsen (BSNU bachelor of science, nursing); Dorota Drozdzewska (MBA, management and strategy); Elizabeth Moore (master of arts, teaching, science, 5-12); Jaswant Uppal (bachelor of science, IT, security emphasis); Nova Williams (endorsement preparation program, educational leadership); Samantha Buttke (endorsement preparation program, English Language Learning, pre-K-12); Na’Ceshia Holmes (master of science, curriculum and instruction); Alicia George (master of education, learning and technology); Christine Jun (master of arts, mathematics education, K-6); Dawn Fritts (BSNU bachelor of science, nursing); Sean Kelly (bachelor of science, information technology); Kendall Blansett (bachelor of science, business management); Lisa Parks (bachelor of arts, special education).
