Five people were displaced after an apartment fire April 1 in the 25800 block of 26th Place South on Kent’s West Hill.
Firefighters responded at about 1:34 p.m. and found smoke coming from a third-floor apartment, according to Puget Sound Fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire in about 40 minutes. Nobody was injured.
Two families (five people) were displaced by the fire and were assisted by Red Cross.
The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental, according to Puget Sound Fire. South King Fire & Rescue, King County Medic One and Zone 3 Fire Explorers assisted Puget Sound Fire.
