Donate jackets, blankets, sleeping bags or other items and receive a free lunch at the annual Willow’s Place Hope for Families event at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6 in Kent at the Golden Steer Steak ‘n’ Rib House, 23826 104th Ave. SE.
Reber Ranch, HomeStreet Bank and Catalyst Travel are sponsoring the event.
The event includes an auction.
Help support local struggling families by bringing to the lunchein: new or gently used sleeping bags, blankets, blow-up mattresses, coats and jackets of all sizes, gloves, hats, scarves, shoes and new this year, school supplies.
Cash or checks payable to Willow’s Place, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization #27-3846934, also are welcome.
Willow’s Place is a community and business-coordinated effort that helps feed the hungry and warms the homeless.
