Lend a hand to help clean up Kent by signing up for the third annual Community Pride Day Graffiti Paint-Out on March 19.
Volunteers, ages 16 and older, are wanted to paint over graffiti at various sites. Everyone will meet at 9 a.m. at Town Square Plaza, Second Avenue and Harrison Street, for assignments during the three-hour event.
City staff will provide supplies, instructions and directions to your clean-up areas. Teams will drive themselves to the clean-up sites.
The registration deadline is March 11.
To sign up or for more information, call Sara Wood, Kent Police public education specialist, at 253-856-5851 or e-mail swood@ci.kent.wa.us.
