The summer heat is hitting Kent this weekend and through Tuesday, July 2.
The National Weather Service predicts highs of 81 degrees on Friday, 82 on Saturday, 86 on Sunday, 88 on Monday and 92 on Tuesday.
Temperatures will come close to or break the daily records, according to forecasters. The low temperatures will range from 62 to 66 degrees.
After Tuesday, an onshore flow will return and start a cooling trend. A high of 75 is expected on the Fourth of July.
