Kent city officials are looking for volunteer groups to help paint over graffiti and pick up litter on Community Clean Up Day from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 18.
Businesses, community organizations, students and churches are encouraged to form groups. Kent Police will provide locations, supplies needed, paint for covering graffiti and instructions.
To register, go to kentwa.gov/departments/police-department/community-education. Fill out a PDF form and email it to Sara Wood, Kent Police community education coordinator, at swood@kentwa.gov.
Registrations will be accepted until June 15.
