A 15-year-old girl was shot and injured during a reported drive-by shooting at about 4 p.m. Sunday in Kent near the 23300 block of 104th Avenue Southeast on the East Hill.
Paramedics transported the girl to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where she was taken into surgery, according to an email Tuesday from Kent Police spokesman Jarod Kasner. He said he didn’t have a current condition report about the girl but said she remained in the hospital.
Detectives canvassed the area in search of witnesses to try to determine what led to the shooting.
“There is no suspect information to release at this time as we continue our investigation,” Kasner said.
