Puget Sound Fire responded to a Kent garage fire caused by transient activity in the 21500 block of 108th Avenue SE on the East Hill.
Firefighters responded at about 6:18 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, according to Puget Sound Fire spokesperson Pat Pawlak. Nobody was injured.
“The cause of the fire was related to transient activity,” Pawlak said.
It took 18 firefighters approximately 30 minutes to extinguish the fire, Pawlak said.
Puget Sound Fire responded Jan. 6 to two fires at vacant homes started by transients, including one on the same property as the garage fire, Pawlak said.
