Kent firefighters extinguished a fire Wednesday night at an abandoned house in the 400 block of Alder Lane.
Crews responded at about 10:45 p.m. and found flames through the roof of the house, according to a Kent Fire Department Regional Fire Authority media release.
Initial firefighting efforts were limited to the outside of the structure, which sits along a south Kent street near the Green River.
Investigators have yet to determine a cause or damage estimate.
