Fill the Bus with school supplies | CISK drive

Support students in the Kent School District by donating to the Communities In Schools of Kent Fill The Bus school supply drive from July 15 to Aug. 15.

Support students in the Kent School District by donating to the Communities In Schools of Kent Fill The Bus school supply drive from July 15 to Aug. 15.

Fill The Bus 2014 is a joint effort between Communities In Schools of Kent (CISK) and the Kent Area Council PTA Clothing Bank.

Donations are being accepted at several dropoff locations throughout Kent and Covington starting July 15.

Bins are located at the Sweet Themes Bakery; Covington Chamber of Commerce; RE/MAX Choice Executives in Covington; the UW Medicine Valley Medical Center Covington South location; Alpha XR (on Kent East Hill, on 104th St. SE); Heritage Bank; Naked Pizza at Kent Station; AMC Kent Station; and Soulful Sounds of Summer concert series at Kent Station from July 8 to Aug. 13.

Financial contributions designated to the school supply drive are also being accepted and can be mailed to: Communities In Schools of Kent, P.O. Box 62, Kent WA 98035, or dropped off at the CISK office in Titusville Station, 202 W. Gowe St., #D between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Businesses, offices and organizations interested in being a CISK dropoff location or offices interested in organizing a school supply drive and want to designate CISK as the beneficiary of those donations, can contact Katie Adams at kadams@ciskent.org, for more information.
