An airplane part fell Friday morning in Kent in the middle of the street along Southeast 231st Way near 128th Place Southeast on the East Hill.
Investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration determined the part is a landing gear door from a Boeing 767.
The Federal Aviation Administration continues to investigate the incident but will not discuss further details about the incident until the investigation is completed, said a FAA spokesman in an email
