Drivers can expect delays in both directions Tuesday evening along Central Avenue South between Morton Street and South 259th Street.
Kent city officials sent out a traffic advisory at 4 p.m. Tuesday that due to unforeseen construction issues, Central Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction through the night.
The lanes are expected to be closed until about 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13.
