Drivers can expect traffic delays Monday and Tuesday July 29-30 in Kent along westbound West James Street from Washington Avenue North to 64th Avenue as crews grind the road the first day and pave it the next day.
The work is part of the city’s asphalt paving project paid for by the new business and occupation (B&O) tax. A lane will remain open in each direction but delays are expected and city officials ask drivers to avoid the area if possible.
