Drivers can expect intermittent lane closures this month in Kent on East James Street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 3-31.
The delays are between State Avenue North and 102nd Avenue Southeast as crews install wheelchair ramps, irrigation and planting as part of the James Street hill improvement project that included repaving the street.
Traffic control will be in place and drivers are asked to take care as they go around the crews working in the roadway.
