Despite crashing into a pole, a driver suffered just minor injuries in a single-car crash at about 10:22 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11 in the 8600 block of South 228th Street.
Puget Sound Fire firefighters stabilized the vehicle and then cut a portion of the roof off in order to extricate the injured driver, according to Puget Sound Fire. Firefighters completed the extrication in 50 minutes. The patient was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.
