Proud owners took their beloved Fidos on a friendly tour of historic downtown at Kent’s annual Pampered Pet Walk on a sun-splashed Saturday.
The free event, put on the by Kent Downtown Partnership – with help from sponsors and groups – drew a big crowd.
Led by state Sen. Joe Fain, R-Auburn, his wife Steffanie and their dog Waffles, and Kent City Councilwoman Dana Ralph, the group completed a short walk, then gathered at Kherson Park for entertainment, photos and conversation.
There were contests for best costumes and tricks.
