Time is running out to pick up a “discount dog” from Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC) in Kent.
Right now, the adoption fee for dogs six months and older is just $50, but the special offer ends Sunday, Sept. 15.
“You can’t put a price on love, but fifty dollars is a great deal,” said Regional Animal Services Manager Dr. Gene Mueller in a county media release. “We have dozens of dogs waiting for a forever home, so we encourage people to stop by the King County Pet Adoption Center this weekend to take advantage of our special offer before it’s over.”
All dogs and cats adopted from RASKC come spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and have received a veterinary health exam.
The King County Pet Adoption Center is at 21615 64th Ave. S. Hours are Monday 3 to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday noon to 6 p.m., and weekends noon to 5 p.m. Visit the website at www.kingcounty.gov/pets.
