The Democratic incumbents are holding their ground in 11th Legislative District.
Final election results show Bob Hasegawa as State Senator, David Hackney for State Representative Pos. 1 and Steve Bergquist for State Representative Pos. 2, according to the Washington state Office of the Secretary of State results on Nov. 26.
The 11th District includes southern Seattle, Renton, Tukwila and a portion of Kent.
For State Senate, Democratic incumbent Hasegawa, who ran unopposed, garnered 95.88% of votes, or 47,344 votes. Write-ins came in at 4.12% of the vote, totalling 2,-36. Total votes came to 49,380.
For State Representative Pos. 1, final results show that Democrat Hackney, who also ran unopposed, garnered 95.91% of votes, or 46,438 votes. There were 1,978 write-ins, which made up 4.09% of the vote. Total votes are tallied at 48,416.
Finally, State Representative Pos. 2 Democrat Bergquist garnered 76.88% of votes, or 43,389 votes with newcomer Justin Greywolf, who favors the Libertarian Party, coming up behind with 22.16% of the vote, or 12,508 votes. Position 2 write-ins made up 0.96% of the vote, totalling in 541. Total votes are currently tallied at 56,438.
According to the Washington State Public Disclosure Commission, as of Nov. 8, Hasegawa had raised $81,451.16 and spent $112,627.35; Hackney had raised $129,906.06 and spent $78,961.44; Bergquist had raised $112,917.09 and spent $73,895.54; and Justin Greywolf had raised and spent $0.
