The Daughters of the American Revolution recently presented the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) medal to Cadet Madeline Zacher, a sophomore at Kentwood High School.
Zacher was honored for her outstanding leadership, service, moral, character, dedication and patriotism.
Hilda Meryhew, WSSDAR State historian, Lakota Chapter, Auburn, presented the honor.
