Kent Fire Department RFA is conducting a live fire training session at an empty house on S.E. Wax Rd., near the Covington-Sawyer Road intersection, on Wednesday, February 29.
Nearby Kent School District schools will operate on regular schedules and the fire department does not anticipate this exercise impacting traffic in the area. Residents should be aware the fire department is advising to keep all doors and windows closed during the training to prevent smoke from getting indoors.
