South King County residents are invited to a community chat at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, to discuss Sound Transit Project 3 – a $54 billion tax measure residents will vote on in November.
The forum, which includes a barbecue, will be at the IBEW Local 77, 19415 International Blvd. in SeaTac. The discussion will include the future of mass transit in South King County – expansion plans, sources of funding and the pros and cons of expansion.
The community chat is the third organized by Shaunie Wheeler, political action director for IBEW Local Union 77, and state Rep. Mia Gregerson, D-SeaTac, designed to get residents engaged and connected in their communities.
