Parapsychology event is in Kent
Have an interest in parapsychology, the study of paranormal psycho-logical phenomena? Kent Commons will be the site of a parapsychology fair, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 27. Featured are guest speakers, door prizes, healing therapists, readers, arts and crafts, and more. Admission is free.

Senior safety event is Sept. 24
Senior safety will take center stage Sept. 24, with the Safe Steps Fall Prevention Event at the Kent Senior Activity Center. The event runs 9:30-11:30 a.m., and includes vendors, handouts, demonstrations and refreshments. The goal is to instruct seniors in ways to stay healthy, and to reduce their risk of falling. Health meeting scheduled
Kent4Health, a grassroots health initiative for the citizens of Kent, has scheduled a community meeting from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Sept. 25.
