A 63-year-old Kent man was found dead in Clark Lake on Saturday afternoon on the East Hill.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Rashpal Singh. As of Tuesday, the medical examiner had not yet reported a cause of death.
“It does not appear that foul play is involved,” said Kent Police spokesman Jarod Kasner in a Tuesday email.
A witness found the man at the lake and reported the incident to 911 at approximately 4:35 p.m., according to the Kent-based Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority.
Firefighters and paramedics performed CPR on Singh, but were unable to revive him.
The lake is part of the city’s Clark Lake Park in the 12700 block of Southeast 240th Street. The popular park has a walking trail and dock.
