Marguerite Carruthers died Thursday afternoon at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, according to a Washington State Patrol media release. Paramedics transported Carruthers to the hospital after she was injured in the 10:55 a.m. Thursday accident.

The driver of the Kia Sedona, a 59-year-old Kent woman, was treated and released at the scene by paramedics.
The State Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Both cars were totaled.
