Kent Police release sketch of East Hill sexual assault suspect | Update

Kent Police continue to aggressively pursue leads in the investigation of two sexual assaults that occurred last weekend on the East Hill and released Wednesday a sketch of the man suspected in the attacks.

Detectives worked with a forensic artist from the Bellevue Police Department. Each victim has met with and provided detailed information to the illustrator about their assailant that allowed for the development of these drawings, according to a Kent Police media release.

“We are very hopeful that by releasing these images today we can prevent another assault from occurring,” said Kent Police Lt. Pat Lowery.

In both cases, the man has been described as a light-skinned black male ages 18 to 19 with short black hair. He is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and described as having a slender build

Detectives ask that anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect contact the Kent Police Department at 253-856-5808.

Anyone seeing the subject should not attempt to contact or detain him. Rather, they are asked to call 911 immediately and provide any details about his location.

A second drawing of the man is attached below to this story.
