Legendary rock artists Styx and REO Speedwagon perform at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup on Wednesday, Sept. 23, part of the Columbia Bank Concert Series.

The six men comprising Styx have committed to rocking audiences far and wide by entering their second decade of averaging over 100 shows a year. Styx draws from more than four decades of chart hits, joyous singalongs and hard-driving deep cuts.

Formed in 1967, signed in 1971, and fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972, REO Speedwagon’s unrelenting drive, as well as non-stop touring and recording jump-started the burgeoning rock movement in the Midwest. Platinum albums and radio staples soon followed.
