The Tri-Cities Fever scored on a touchdown pass with 15 seconds left to beat the Kent Predators 57-50 in a professional Indoor Football League game June 4 at the ShoWare Center.
The Predators dropped to 5-8 and are in fourth place in the five-team Pacific North Division. They play June 12 at the Fairbanks Grizzlies (7-5) in their final regular season game.
The Fever improved to 6-6 to stay ahead of the Predators for third place in the division with two games remaining. The Billings Outlaws (10-2) have clinched the division title.
Houston Lillard threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Thyron Lewis to give Tri-Cities the victory. Kent quarterback Charles McCullum threw a touchdown pass earlier to Andre Jordan to tie the game at 50.
McCullum completed 17 of 25 passes for 160 yards and four touchdowns. He rushed 12 times for 75 yards and two touchdowns. Jordan had six receptions for 66 yards and three touchdowns.
