A final open tryout for the Seattle Mist of the women’s Lingerie Football League is set for 5 p.m. Monday, June 13 at the ShoWare Center in Kent.
Registration starts at 5 p.m. Any woman interested in trying out must bring a photo of themselves to leave behind and completed application and waiver form found at www.lflus.com/docs/tryoutapp.pdf.
The players are encouraged to wear cute athletic attire and athletic shoes or turf shoes and come ready to work hard to showcase their strength, power, speed, agility and football knowledge and skills.
The tryout runs from 6-9 p.m.
Seattle opens the 2011-12 season Sept. 30 at the Green Bay Mist. The Mist play home games at the ShoWare Center Nov. 4 against the Las Vegas Sin and Jan. 6 against the Minnesota Valkyrie. They also play Dec. 16 at the Los Angeles Temptation.
The league features scantily clad women playing seven-on-seven tackle football on a 50-yard field. They play 17-minute halves. Each offense features a quarterback, center, two running backs and three receivers.
