Seattle Mist fail to make Lingerie Football League playoffs

The Kent-based Seattle Mist failed to make the women's Lingerie Football League playoffs.

The Seattle Mist missed out on advancing to the Lingerie Football League playoffs when Los Angeles beat Chicago last week. The Mist finished with a 2-2 record.

The Seattle Mist missed out on advancing to the Lingerie Football League playoffs when Los Angeles beat Chicago last week. The Mist finished with a 2-2 record.

The Kent-based Seattle Mist failed to make the women’s Lingerie Football League playoffs.

Seattle finished with a 2-2 record and in third place in the six-team Western Conference. The Mist needed the Chicago Bliss to beat the Los Angeles Temptation on Friday, but the Temptation won 42-26 to clinch second place in the Western Conference with a 3-1 record.

The Las Vegas Sin (4-0) plays Los Angeles in the Western Conference finals. The Philadelphia Passion (4-0) play the Tampa Breeze (3-1) in the Eastern Conference finals. Both games are Sunday, Jan. 29.

The conference winners play in Lingerie Bowl IX Feb. 5 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
