Kent’s Metropolitan Gymnastics hosts National Gymnastics Day on Saturday, Sept. 16, from noon to 1:30 p.m., at its facility, 6822 S. 190th St.
The center is offering free open gym and discounts on new class registration, birthday parties, open gym passes and items in the pro shop.
Staff are collecting donations of gymnastics supplies (monetary donations accepted) for gymnasts who have been directly affected by recent hurricanes in the U.S. Metropolitan Gymnastics will be collecting donations for these items throughout September and the Iron Cross Foundation will ship them to be distributed directly to the athletes.
