The Kentridge Drama Department performs the musical comedy, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” from Nov. 28 to Dec. 1 and Dec. 5 to Dec. 8, at the high school’s Performing Arts Center, 12430 SE 208th St., Kent.
The show centers on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally quirky grown-ups. The show is suitable for a PG13 audience.
Shows begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, with additional Saturday matinees at 2 o’clock.
Tickets will be available at the door and online at showtix4u.com.
