Join local health professionals for the second annual “Optimal Health4You,” a free workshop on Saturday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kent Senior Activity Center, Room 9, 600 E. Smith St.

According to Kent4Health liaison Pam Clark, the workshop is an opportune time to ask questions and learn directly from the experts about exercise, nutrition, disease prevention and healthy living.
“We have a great lineup of topics, including how to overcome barriers to exercise, stress management, blood sugar and diabetes and healthy cooking,” Clark said.
George Anderson, guest speaker and a master of physical therapy, says he works on a regular basis with clients who struggle to maintain an exercise routine.
“This discussion is a great way to get answers. It’s easier than you think to get on a healthy track,” Anderson said.
Free blood pressure and glucose screenings, spinal stress analysis and 10-minute massages will be provided.
