The Kent Historical Museum opens a new exhibit on Saturday, Aug. 5, as a part of Experience Historical Kent.
Members of the Smith family will be at an open house at the museum to unveil the exhibit, “Smith Brothers Farms, a Kent Legacy.”
The museum, 855 E. Smith St., has extended hours for summer – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m Wednesday through Saturday.
