The Kent Downtown Partnership hosts a Wine Walk from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 18.
Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. at the former Shindig Martini Bar location, 222 First Ave. S. Twelve downtown businesses will host different wineries an cider companies.
Tickets are $25 per person for 12 tastes, and can be purchased at downtownkentwa.com. Tickets purchased at the door cost $30.
