Grammy-award winning singers Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith performed their 2016 Christmas Tour on Saturday in front of a sellout crowd of 5,986 at the ShoWare Center in Kent.
Jordan Smith, Season 9 winner of NBC’s “The Voice,” joined Grant and Michael W. Smith on the tour.
Incorporating a full symphony orchestra, the Grant-Smith tours have become some of the most anticipated holiday events of the season. With a vast collection of critically acclaimed holiday albums between them, the performance showcased selections from their extensive Christmas repertoires. Additionally, the tour helps benefit Operation Christmas Child, which distributes more than 135 million shoe boxes of Christmas gifts to children in need in 150 countries.
