The Four Bitchin’ Babes, an original tour de force musical comedy theatre troupe, celebrates the holiday season in “Jingle Babes!” This evening of clever comedy and classy caroling comes to Kent-Meridian Performing Arts Center, 10020 SE 256th St., as part of Spotlight Series at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5.
The Babes are Sally Fingerett, Debi Smith, Deirdre Flint, and Marcy Marxer. In “Jingle Babes!” they let loose on the holidays with their estrogen infused, whimsically hip, and luxurious girl-group harmonies, blending their signature brand of hilarious original music with festive familiar hits, according to a city of Kent media release.
Playing their own guitars, bass, piano, and Irish Bodhran, this hilarious renegade sorority of gal pals delivers elegant wit, sophisticated (never blue) stand-up humor, and enough bling to hypnotize the first five rows of any theater.
The Four Bitchin’ Babes celebrate the season of light, from twinkling Christmas trees to the Menorah’s candlelight.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $25 for seniors and $15 for youths. Tickets are available at www.kentarts.com, by calling (253) 856-5051 or in person at the Kent Commons (525 4th Ave. N.).
