Twice winners of Scotland’s Traditional Music “Live Act of the Year” award, Skerryvore have been on a meteoric journey that has taken them from the remote Isle of Tiree to international tours. They create a unique fusion of folk, trad, rock and pop that represents all the personalities and background of the eight band members who hail from various regions of Scotland.
We Banjo 3 delivers a ground-breaking mixture of Irish, old-time American and bluegrass music with remarkable virtuosity and passion. The members of We Banjo 3 are among the most celebrated and distinguished young musicians in Ireland today, including a seven-time all-Ireland banjo champ, a four-time banjo champ and another member who is an all-Ireland champ on both fiddle and Bodhran. Combined with a passionate lead vocalist who is like a young Springsteen adopted by the Chieftans, the result is truly unforgettable, according to a city of Kent press release.
