Santa Claus is coming to Kent for a special drive-thru event from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12.
Candy Cane Lane will be set up at Hogan Park at Russell Road and the Kent Valley Ice Centre for a free holiday event presented by the city of Kent Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department. No tickets or registration is required.
The entrance to the event will be at Hogan Park at Russell Road, 24400 Russell Road. Event traffic will wind through the Hogan Park lot to the back entrance of the Kent Valley Ice Centre. Santa, wish list drop box and a drive-thru holiday light display will be located in the Kent Valley Ice Centre lower parking lot.
Once you’ve arrived, have the driver mask up and roll down the window to pick up free holiday treats for the little elves – all kids will be gifted hot cocoa to make at home, candy canes and a Kent Parks light-up reindeer nose. Continue on to drop off your holiday wish list to Santa and bid him a holly jolly hello.
