The City of Kent Arts Commission will partner with gospel icons the Blind Boys of Alabama to bring a special holiday livestream performance at 6 p.m. on Dec. 23.
Tickets are $18. A portion of each ticket sold benefits Kent’s Spotlight Series. Purchase tickets at boxoffice.mandolin.com.
For this special holiday show, the Blind Boys of Alabama will feature songs from their 2014 “Talkin’ Christmas!” album as well as the band’s previous Grammy-winning Christmas recording, “Go Tell It on the Mountain,” along with Blind Boys’ gospel classics and other gems from their 70-plus-year career.
